Get ready for Winter at HATCH

Now that the weather has started cooling down and we're heading into Winter, we had a chat with two of our HATCH WA designers, Jonté of Jonté Designs and Tash of BRUUG to get some tips and inspiration for Winter.

What are your top fashion tips for Autumn/Winter?

Tonal Dressing / Mixing textures / Midi Lengths

What are your essentials for transeasonal wear?

A Midi-Slip Dress - must have for the wardrobe. It can be layered over a t-shirt for a more casual look or teamed with a beautiful leather jacket for a night out. Being able to add or remove layers to this multipurpose dress is the perfect winner for a trans-seasonal piece! We have a stunning velvet silk devoré slip with a lustrous sheen which is the perfect dress for this purpose of dressing stocked in HATCH.

Do you have any favourite trends for Autumn/Winter 2017?

I am loving the layering of various textures - mixing knits with metallics or silks with velvets.

What’s your favourite piece from your collection for this season?

The most comfortable, versatile pair of pants! Our new Urbanised Harem Pants which ooze luxury and street-style glam whilst being a piece which you can dress up or down. I have been living in these!

What are your top fashion tips for Autumn/Winter?
Autumn - what Autumn? Perth Autumn has been seeing warm days and cold nights. So I’m loving layering textures at the moment. My personal go to is a linen dress with leather jacket thrown over, and don’t pull out the black just yet; try some Autumn colours that are surprisingly neutral like a rust or a navy.

What are your essentials for transeasonal wear?
You can’t go past a light throw on jacket or a thin sweater for those days that start out cold but end up warm as hell.

Do you have any favourite trends for Autumn/Winter 2017?
Velvet, anything and everything velvet. Oh and fitted ankle booties are my most recent obsession.

What’s your favourite piece from your collection for this season?
I love the crepe Jordan Cullottes, with matching lightweight bomber.
