Presenting an alternative for beach babes and pool punks who belong in the sun, Double Rainbouu is an antidote to traditional resort brands. The beach and resortwear label was founded in 2016 by Toby Jones and Mikey Nolan, who were the former art and creative directors at cult denim brand Ksubi. Cool, youthful and sexy are all key words when describing the work of Double Rainbouu, which encapsulates a playful attitude with its nod to fashion, art and pop culture. All textile designs are created in house by the duo and reflect a life spent by the beach. According to the founders, Double Rainbouu garments are for the everyday; not some tumblr version of paradise that exists only in the mind.
The Synth UUave collection explores the idea of synthetic environments and simulations, featuring graphics influenced by post-punk and new wave music which lean into a full spectrum of the Rainbouu. Coloured denim, leisure suits, unisex bombers and happy pants make a debut, resulting in wears for good times, all through the day and into the night.
